Not in the United States if it receives federal funds. The teaching of religion by any government entity, in any way, has been ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court of the United States. The U. S. Constitution guarantees freedom of religion, so the teaching of any particular religion in school forces those of another religion to be proselytized by the school into one which is not there choice, thus violating the First Amendment of the Constitution - "establishment of religion".
