How do you fall asleep when you cant sleep?

What do you do when its real late at night and you cant sleep?

HOENSTLY the onnnly thng that lets me sleep at night is my ipod! or watver it is lol music. it helps me like teh day before yesterday was 3am and I couldnt sleep so I grabbed my music anad listened and daydreamed. imagained myself sigin adn shiz lol then like I start to want to close my eyes adn I shut off my ipod and fall asleep like a baby..thats how I iii sleep! or force my self in a good position and shut my eyes thinkin bout something iunteresting hope that helpss

find a bottle of melatonin. that’ll get you to sleep fasttt.

  • do exercise couple hours before you sleep (jogging for 30 minutes)
  • don’t eat, drink prior to sleeping; no alcohol.
  • drink a cup of warm milk
  • make sure there’s no lights when you sleep
  • take a warm shower prior to sleeping.
  • read a book before sleeping
  • if theres stress on your mind, try meditation prior to sleeping.
  • prior to sleep, stay away from bright lights (pc screen) for about 30 minutes
  • masturbate before sleep

Do not just lie there and try to sleep, get up and do something (preferably have a walk around or read a book) and then go back to bed again after about half an hour. Try to avoid the TV or computer games late at night, although I do find having the TV sound on quite quiet helps me to drop off. Try some relaxing music (maybe get a classical CD) and just breathe deeply and try and relax.

Try doing some exercise during the day so you are more likely to be tired, and maybe start having a bath in the evening as part of your getting ready for bed routine. Using a lavendar bubble bath can make it very relaxing.

I have this trouble too, sometimes I just stay up all night so I know I will be really tired and sleepy the next, but more often than not the above work for me :)
