How do I get my 8 month old baby to drink a bottle at one time?

My 8 month old is drinking about 5 oz, well last I knew she was. Now she wont drink a whole bottle at one time unless she is sleeping. She’ll let me feed her for only a few sips of the bottle and then she doesn’t want it, but then she’ll want it 5 mins later and take a few more sips. It’s just hard b/x were wasting formula. I don’t know how much I should be giving her, and I dont even know how many hours in between she’s drinking. She doesn’t eat much baby food either. Sometimes she’ll eat a whole jar of veggies and 1 bite of fruit, and others she’ll take 3 bites of veggies and none of fruit. she always has to be playing while she’s eating too, or she gets mad. what should I do?

No offense but you should be asking her doctor what you should be doing. Some babies become picky eaters after they are introduced to solids. Sometimes giving them smaller bottles with rice ceral added can help during bottle time. Most children do not have a bottle and solids in the same sittting. And also most children eat more solids than drink more bottles. Make feeding time more fun. Introduce some teethers or toys while feeding her. Also ask if it is okay to giver her biter cookies. They are very big cookies made for babies that help with hand eye cordination, before they have teeth. Talk to her doctor and see what he/she reccomends.

once babys are introduced to solid foods…they begin to hate their formula… my son is now 1 but when he was 8 months he began to hate his formula…I started given him meats and rice at 4 months because he grew his teeth so early… try putn baby food inside her formula and see if she drinks it…when my son was 2 months I started putn just a few drops so the color of the milk will change…your baby is 5 months now so you can put the whole thing inside…try asking your doctor and c what he says…maybe the formula you are giving your baby is not what your baby wants anymore…maybe a different 1 will make your baby drink more…just try given him/her every few hrs a lil bit and it should soon pass..
