Which religion forbids the custom of shaking hands? I know Islam forbids a female shaking hands with a male, but I have never heard of two male not being able to shake hands. Any thoughts?
I have a ritual called 'terminator'. I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
I believe it is islam that doesn't allow shaking hands (which one I am not sure).
one of the hands is "the wiping hand"- and thus viewed as being unclean- it is a very large insult to someone if you offer your "wiping hand" to shake.
I think the Amish young people are not supposed to touch... as this arrouses the passions of the flesh. They desire for their young people to save their passion for the marriage bed.
