Simply a Rose to brighten your day,         And maybe lessen the cares in your way;         And also, too, to help you to know,         That in knowing you, many others grow!

Well, that depends. If you are a threat to yourself..like you are talking about killing youself..then a good friend would want to do whatever they can to keep you alive && safe. They might call and report that they are scared for their friend and her life. I mean, they can. But I don’t think they nessecarliy should. That’s an extreme that should only be used if you are in danger..like if you have hurt yoursef or are fixing to.

But just because you feel sad//depressed//suicidal or whatever. That’s no reason to call the police.

Whoever this person is that mugh tbe thinking of calling the police is just trying to help. But they don’t really understand you. There are hotlines you can call and talk to someone about how you feel. Talk to a friend. Talk on the internet to someone. Talking to someone you don’t know ever helps sometimes. It helped me.

But to answer your original question, yes they can if they think you are in danger.

Answer #3

um, probably not unless it’s anything dangerous

Answer #4

Yes, if you are suicidal or homocidal, in florida they call it the baker act, they can place you in a hold for I think 2 weeks or something like that…

Answer #5

Yup, if you’re a threat to yourself (suicidal, etc) and someone is genuinely concerned for your health, they can have you arrested or put into a rehab place.

Answer #6

Unless, you are feeling SUICIDAL, or wanting to HARM others .. I don’t think the police can do anything about the way you feel.
