Migration of the belly ring

I had my belly pierced 2 months ago and I changed it and nothin happens because most of my scars heal fast. But I put my oringinal belly ring back in to see what it looks like and I have a little less skin than it was before. So my question is your belly piercing supposed to get a lil smaller over time (migrate) because its a sign of healing? Or wats the deal…or am I being paranoid?

P.s the skin is not thin…its just a lil small than when 1st pierced

peircings come in all shapes and sizes, so check to see if the two navle rings are exctly the same length if they are this could be two things your body is starting to reject the peircing or your still growing, so its been puched out because your body is still growing

The new piercing may have been small then your orginal one. Its happened to me if the one you change into was smaller then your first one your belly button hole will grow around it, dont worry though they are not that difference in sizes it just might be a tight fit to get the bigger of two in.

As long as you think it looks proportional and even then I don’t see anything whong with it. I had one that had migrated but it had migrated so that the skin had become too thin. I had to take it out, let it heal and have it redone. As long as you have enough skin, and you like the way that it looks then keep it.

I also had to take out my pircing becauase of migration :( but did you take a new one? I really want to take a new belly ring pircing, but I’m afraid that it’s going to migrate again.. what do you think I should do? (I’m sorry that my english suck, but I’m from Norway :P )
