Can I get a belly button ring if I'm a swimmer?
I’m a swimmer, I swim year around. I have one break for 3 weeks. Is that long enough for it to get healed enough where I can get back in the water? If not how long should I stay out of the pool?
i got my belly button pierced and it healed in about a week. the next week i went swimming in the ocean and pool and nothing happened. i think it depends on how quickly your body does healing. three weeks are more than enough for it to heal to i would recomend you to get it done during that 3 week break.
If your body heals quickly, it could be enough time. Get it as soon as you can within those three weeks, and take damn good care of it, following the piercer’s instructions to the letter. If it doesn’t heal by then, you should probably take it out and wait until you have more time to let it heal.
