It's either an infection - or it's from you belly being bloated. Since you are only 4 weeks pregnant - you should not be showing yet - but you can be bloated.
You are going to have to take the ring out eventually - you can either take it out for good or buy a belly ring designed for pregnant women. You are not going to be able to leave it in the whole pregnancy. If you plan on taking it out - the sooner the better. You dont want to have a growing belly with a HUGE hole in it from the piercing. You want it to close up before your belly starts getting big.
You have an infection. Go and see your doctor as soon as possible. Most practitioners recommend you remove the jewellery during pregnancy but they are others option such as; -You can purchase a non metal ring. These a perfect for growing tummies as they're flexible
If you're having a caesarean you will more than likely told you have to take it out anyway
get a flexi-bar from argos if you want to keep your piercing just clean it with anti-septic and see how it goes. if it does get worse I suggest removing your piercing. mine was sore because it had streched so the bigger bar worked amazzingly.
