Most Christians believe we are living in the days of the end, however, the end, is actually the beginning. Everything will be renevatated, and after the battle of Armegeddon, Christ will reign on this earth, for 1000 years. This is going to be a great time. Satan will be bound, so there will be no one to temp mankind, and we can finally live in peace.

At the end of the 1000 years, Satan will be let loose for a little while. (I never wanted to hear this, because I felt why let him loose again, to torment and tempt mankind?

However, it would not be fair to the ones that have lived under his influence, for the last 6000 years. The ones who will be born during the reign of Christ, will be untested. So, that I believe, is the reason for him being loosed again, and it makes sense, even if I don’t look forward to it.

Jesus will save any who sincerely call upon him. Today is the day of Salvation.

His word to us is in his word, and there are so many diff. versions, you are sure to find one you can read and understand. be prepared, for whatever does come upon the earth.

There are churches on every corner,in America, find one that you relate to and feel comfortable in, there is great comfort in being with Gods people.

And the bible tells us to know the seasons, but, the day and the hour, are known only by God.

ok a couple of things to say here. one I heard 2012 not 2011. when I first heard in 2012 the world would end I was very disturbed. I told my mom about it and she brought up a good point, why would God destroy something He created and was proud of? it says in the Bible that when he created earth that it was good and when he created human it was very good. why would he want us to die? also the Bible does say that no one (besides God and Jesus) knows when the world will end. of course people that aren’t Christian wouldn’t believe that. but it is somewhat comforting hearing that. maybe it is true though. he could be testing our faith. you never know.

The world is young…it won’t die out until long after all of us are gone. Until then, look up secular humanism…it is a MUCH better way to live (mutual respect for all mankind, rather than religious judgment).

Yeah, it would make me wonder where God’s mercy is. The bible is full of contradications- it says that God is benevolent and loves us all equally. If this were true, why would God only spare very few people? Personally, I don’t believe it. There have been sooo very many predictions about the end of the world. Maybe this guy just wants people to listen to him to get more broadcasts to his radiochannel . If, what the bible says is true and nobody knows when the end of the world will be, then surely it will come as a surprise and will defy all previous predictions- God wouldn’t allow one single person to know, not even Harold Camping. He is too clever for that.

You sound really convincing. So could you tell me how you/they came to the conclusion that the Lord is coming 2011 May 21? Also why would God only save 3% of the world’s population dead and alive? I can’t believe that God only chose to love 3% of His creation for eternity. He loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son so that those (3%) whom believe in Him would be saved and through Him would go to heaven? Do you really propose to be able to “see” the future that only God knows exactly. You could make anything written in the bible fit your own theory. The Lord will not forsake anyone that has chosen His Son as their Saviour.

Wanger, we are all sinners until we make that conscious step to ask for forgiveness through Jesus Christ. All sin are equal; lying, stealing, killing… it is all the same to Jesus, He came to save us no matter what we have done, all He asks is that we believe. Don’t believe what Harold Camping says, if he is truly a messenger of God then he would be preaching the love of God and not this other god that he has created for himself. God protects those that ask for it. He created us, is it so much to ask that we love Him in return? Or live our lives in the way He intended us to do before our fall into sin? Buddhism and secular humanism (which I believe is Satans work at his best) is not the answer here. Go to your knees and pray, God will show you the way!

God please help me to be able to withstand the onslaught from the enemy and see clearly what the truth is when I am confronted with lies. Thank you Jesus for loving me so much that you were willing to die for my sins. Please forgive my constant unbelief and worries about the future Lord.
