Do people nowadays still believe in God
Sure they do ! - this is what I know to be true: God being pure cannot even look upon sin - man, even in his very best state is a sinner - on judgement day, either: your sins are covered by the blood-shed sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross (salvation and only salvation - being a nice person isn't good enough - even at our very best, we are but filthy rags), and remembered no more or they are not (your sins are not covered) - where God's great love comes into play is, He provided a WAY (Jesus) for us not to perish and live in Heaven with Him (He certainly didn't have to do this but did because He loved us so) - if you read carefully John 3:16, this is exactly what it says - each person will either accept or reject, you must decide for yourself and yes, it's so important, it has eternal consequences - He Loves you and wants you to accept God's free gift to man - Jesus - more info available on my profile page if you'd like...Take care !!
It all depends. Allot of people believe in god but some of them don't go to church or anything. In fact, I have a classmate in college who claims to believe in god but doesn't attend church or read the bible. She feels that if she doesn't attend church, and, she says that she prays to god but, doesn't read the bible, she feels no need to attend church to hear the word. Personally, I love going to church and reading my scriptures so that I can have a better life and so forth. I think that most people now a days believe in god but, some people go to church for the wrong reasons. But you have to be careful, because, you have your Atheists.

Amblessed, you love to paste this screed at every opportunity, and it always makes me wonder: If god "cannot even look upon sin", how is he omnipotent?
Ethmer, God did not abandon the universe. He set it up to run on its own. He still moves, when called upon, from a pure heart. He may not answer the way you expect, but, he will answer. Multitudes of people see Gods hand move, on a regular basis, however unbelief ties his hands.
Well, personally I don't. Some people still do, though. But I think many people are just becoming more educated and with that, becoming more logical in all ways of thinking so they loose their faith. That may be why it seems there are less people who believe in god nowadays
im 100% atheist don't believe in it but do respect people who do Although people say god created the world in 7 days but sientists have proved the big bang caused the creation ofthe earth and our universe
Surveys continue to show a decline in the fraction of people who believe in god(s), although it's still a substantial majority.
Personally, I find the idea just as silly as the idea of leprechauns.
I beleive hes real, but sometimes I doubt he's really helping me...but I belive in him. How else did everything get here. Cause Science sur ein the hell cannot make a universe

Most people do, surveys show about 90% of americans believe in some sort of higher power...
