ok, I’m a christian. I’m 16 and I have been saved since february 18th 1999. I’m a babtist. but I have a few questions about catholic’s beliefs.

  1. Why must you confess your sin to your Priest?

  2. Why do you believe that the pope is the ONLY person that can talk to God?

  3. Why do you call the priests “Father”? the bible says “Call no man Father”

  4. Why can’t catholic priests be married? God made adam and eve.

  5. Why do catholic priests make a “vow of poverty”. The bibls says “The LOVE of money is the root of evil”. It never said money is the root of evil.

  6. Why do you pray to mary? She isn’t Christ

1.you dont have to confess to the priest I dont ,confess directly to god when you pray,why do you have to confess to the priest while god knows you and know in your heart that you are sorry. 2.the pope and the Vatican were made to give Christianity force against other religion but personally I don’t like it, Jesus said that we are all equal . 3.yes you are right ,the only that we should call him father is the lord 4.priests can’t be married because they sacrifice them self to god ,Jesus said who loses him self gain it, and who gain him self lost it 5.you know the priest is a human and we all do mistakes and misunderstandings and different point of view.I don’t put money in church 6.Mary is the mother of Jesus .the son of god,she pray for us as we are her children

finally Christianity should be united as Jesus said ,and if someone ask you what are you catholic or orthodox just say I’m christian
