Why does Catholicism have big churches?

It’s a dissonance between religion and the intentions of man lol.

because there are more christians who go to church and attend mass…:)…the small ones are called chapels…

What I’m saying is, the amount of money taken to go into this, it seems like they’re rather proud about it and honeslty, Jesus would not be happy about any of it…

lol..ok…the money does not go to waste…they r building a home for all the christians and its a very very holy place wer people pray and worship God and Jesus is happy bcuz they r building a home for all his brothers and sisters to worship and pray..anyway, have u gone to church and seen how full the churches r mayvbe there they are not but here the churches r always full and as for the Vatican, it was built a long time ago for billions of christians…

That just makes it all the more troublesome, anyway, I’ll leave it there, don’t wanna wake up with a headache :)

The Catholic church is hierarchical like a government. Vatican city is considered sovereign nation within Rome Italy. The Catholic church is the largest church in the world and its headquarters is the Vatican. The church has also been around for a long time and many of the most impressive churches were built centuries ago.

That is generalization not all are big but if you worship God wouldnt you want to give God the best
