Yes. But how? My country mostly residing in squatter’s area. 70% of our population are poor and suffer from malnutrition because of increasing population and unemployed person. One thing I know to change is first to change within ourselves.:)

Answer #2

i hope you do not take offense,         To that that comes hereafter;         ’Tis only that it’s my two-cents,         Not one penny more thereafter. §;o)       There are organizations that do try to help third world countries develop clean water supplies. Nations can’t usually do it because the money they supply to develop the clean water is side-tracked by the dictatorial governments and the people get nothing. So, too, some governments would rather see their people starving to death or die of thirst rather than accept aid from democratic countries.

It will probably take many third world countries becoming democratic before they will get the aid that they need.

Answer #3

If only it were that simple. Most third world countries have governments that aren’t exactly stable and uncorruptable, so even if we had the 40 billion dollars on hand, actually getting it to where it matters would be extremely difficult. Pretty much any attempt to do this on a large scale is likely to line the pockets of the tinpot dictators more than it’ll improve the welfare of their citizens.

Not that I’m saying we shouldn’t help - I agree we should - just that it’s not as simple as just throwing money at the problem.

Answer #4
