Will it catch up?

I’m 13. Is it normal? I eat like a starving elephant, but I’m skinny. I only weight 93 pounds. Is itsimply because im active or my metabolism? Will it eventually catch up to me?

Answer #1

Not necessarily… I had a friend in high school, stayed around that much, she is still probably around that weight… (we’re in our early 20s now)…

I’m 55 years old, 5’8” and I weigh around 100 and falling. I eat a lot but can’t seem to gain. Several months ago I was gaining weight so I think I have figured out what the problem is. I have been on Synthroid for years and sometimes the milligrams need to be adjusted because of my thyroid. I’m currently working on that and I’m already seeing changes. They’re small but there. If you have thyroid problems, have it checked out and if you don’t, go to your dr and have him/her set you up for a blood test to check your thyroid levels. Good luck to you and write to me anytime because I understand. Carol/katwoman

Yes it more than likely will catch up with you! because all the food you eat will start to slowly slow down your metabolism and in like ten years you’ll have a slow metabolism and you wont be able to eat as much!

Answer #4

ummm im guessing it will but as long as you continue to be active it shouldnt hit you that hard ( im 16 and eat around 3500 callories but I do play waterpolo and swimteam)

Answer #5

no worries, as long as you’re eating healthier, opposed to mcdonalds everyday, then you’ve got a problem…
