What if you were unforgivable?

What if god said you were going to hell? But you dont know the action to take to repent, because you have mental issues and your kinda unsure about why,( not because you didnt do anything) but because you have like a hundred things youve done, theres a lot it could be and your lost and you dont want to go into the wrong direction because your whole life’s destiny depends on your choice, what if you dont know how to repent and what if god’s fed up with you? What if you’ve abused your relationship with god, how do you fix and it and fix yourself in the process, because god is angered by sin, so everytime I sin he’s frustrated and I feel like what do I need to do?? Theres a small voice that is telling me im going to hell. And no I I might be crazy but I know that god exists he healed my mother in law terri and her daughters baby and brought me to a good life with a good husband and blessed me because I was not in good shape before that. But anyways so what would you do?

Answer #1

you may think God is telling you that you’re going to hell but it’s Satan telling you. God forgives everyone in some way. you just have to ask.

Answer #2

As long as you have breath in your body… you can be forgiven.

You can change your mind, at any time.

all you have to do, is to call on God, to save you.

Period.

However, after that, you need to learn and grow in your new relationship, and learn how to be an overcomer. Also, how to fight the good fight of faith. Because Satan does not want you to have victory… in your life. He wants to keep you, in bondage. Jesus came to set the captives free… that means.. me and you… and whosoever will… may come. The price is already paid… at Calvary.

There is nothing that you can do to earn salvation… it is a free gift of God.

So that none can boast.

The ground is level at Calvary.

No big I’s and litte U’s.

Whosoever, may come, to the fountain of life, and drink freely.

Repentance, means to realize ones mistakes, and to turn from them.

If we accept Christ as savior, and things don’t change in our life…

I would seriously doubt our sincerity… to begin with.

Once you accept Jesus as your savior, you will want to learn of him.

you will want to be like him.

you will want to be with his people,… the ones that have his spirit.

Seek him, with all your heart, and you will find him.

His way, is written in his word.

And he directs by his spirit.

Be blessed…

“you may think God is telling you that you’re going to hell but it’s Satan telling you. God forgives everyone in some way. you just have to ask.”

If God is omnipotent, how come God doesnt have the power to get rid of Satan and stop people from going to hell… doesnt God love all his children?

Answer #4

arachnid: surely you’re not actually asking for proof! as long as we believe it, it makes it true! it’s called faith! who needs evidence! so what if nothing backs me up, as long as I believe it hard enough it will be true!

Answer #5

silverwings: What you’re saying is at odds with what’s in the bible. What do you base your assertion that everything is forgiveable on if not the bible?

Answer #6

yes but I was referring to sinning against the father he mentioned adultry which I believe is sin against the body, so he can be forgiven. I do love how you study and don’t just deny my belief. study some more. its good for you : ).

Answer #8

Actually, according to christianity, there is an unforgivable sin: “blaspheming” the holy spirit. Like this:

I reject the holy spirit.

Apparrently, I’m now doomed to hell, and nothing I can ever do will save me. Oh well.

liite223 “”yes but I was referring to sinning against the father he mentioned adultry which I believe is sin against the body””

but thats not what im asking. the bible says that if you dont belieev in God Jesus and the holy spirit then theres no way to be forgiven. stop side steping the question.

yes I have studied and yes it is good for me but I dout we mean in the same way. if you have read my early post you will see I do deny christanity.

silverwing I ask you the same question then. you said “”As long as you have breath in your body… you can be forgiven. ‘’’ then why is mark 3 29 in the bible?

Answer #10

there is nothing that can separate you from god. his mercy endures for ever. if you are truly sorry and you believe and confess that jesus died for your sins you just ask him to forgive you. the bible says if you should sin you have an advocate (jesus ) with the father. how could he be sick of you? He made you he gave you the breath of life. he knows we are not perfect thats why he sent jesus. does a loving parent ever stop loving their child? no matter what he still loves you. just ask for forgiveness. besides he casts all your sins into the sea of forgetfulness so if he cant remember those sins how can he be tired of you sinning? Psalm 51 you should read it. It encourages me. Remember his mercy endures forever and ever and ever.

liite223- this is in the bible “Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin. - Mark 3:29” (thank you arachnid)

this fact can not be denided if this is not true then that means thats something wrong in the bible. wich means other things in the bible can be wrong.

It cnat be figuritive ,its there in black and white

Well, if it was hard for me to repent, I’d be in so much pain! I would be too guilty to talk to my LDS leader. Maybe you could speak to your pastor about this and see what he says about repentance. It might not be easy to repent when you have so many sins but, I know that heavenly Father won’t put you through hell! unless you’ve comitted a more serious sin. He loves us all and he knows that we all make mistakes. He’ll forgive us once we repent. But, if we are unforgivable, I’d say this might be an answer your pastor can give you. I know my LDS leader could help me answer this part of the question. If you’re a good person, I wouldn’t worry about it.

If you’re ‘already doomed’ - I wouldn’t worry too much. It would only matter if the christian god actually existed, and at any rate it’s a good hedge against people trying to convert you - no point converting me, I’m already doomed!

Answer #14

* theres a small voice that is telling me im going to hell.

The voice in your head is your own subconscious, not a god. Hell doesn’t exist as you imagine it.

The modern concept of hell as a place where you go and suffer forever, is not even a Biblical concept. It was invented during the dark ages and popularized in a fictional book, “The Inferno”, in a very similar manner of fiction creating religion just like the ridiculous End Times books.

In the Bible, “hell” simply means “grave”. That’s why the New Testament talks about resurrection. The idea of heaven abd hell don’t even make any sense in combination with resurrection.

Answer #15

Unless you commited an act of genocide or started the apocalypse, nothing you’ve done is completely unforgivable. Talk to a senior member of your religion and ask about the path to repentance. It’s not always easy unburdening yourself of sins, especially a lot of them, but the act of contrition is the best thing you can do.

Remember, God is infinitely wise, and an infinitely wise being will not strike down or condemn His children for mortal frailties. Have faith and remember that God loves you.

Answer #16

I’m not overly religious, but I am very spiritual…as far as I know…God or the ‘universal power’ that lies within each of us…sees past a lot of the confusion that is created by our reality…if you are a good person at heart…you have nothing to worry about. Forget about heaven & hell…from what I understand…there is the after life and for those who have more to learn…it’s back to Earth again for another life…but really, who knows??
