It says that god forgives thoes who commet suicide if they are mental not all there, but dont you think whoever commets suicide is already mental not there I mean they dont do it for fun something mentally is pushing them to it. I think when he says suicides will go stright to hell he ment like the suicide bombers type of suicides. What do you all think?

Answer #2

He is on our side, and if he be for you, Who can be against you?

Wow… you really butchered the meaning behind that phrase…

Answer #3

Well, don’t believe everything “it” says, whatever “it” is.

Answer #4

no one can really know the answer to this but like moe214 says its not an unpardonable sin and I think most people who commit suicide are not in the right frame of mind.

Answer #5

it says that god forgives thoes who commet suicide if they are mental…

…IT… says? What is IT? Where does it say that?

Answer #6

to chelsey I believe the same way you do I believe no matter what if your good in your heart nothing else matters I was wondering what people thought about the whole suicide thing because so many people things its the unforgiveable sin I also think were all being tested on earth and part of hell is here to prove our hearts are good on how we fight the evil here

Answer #7

He forgives if you are truly sorry for what you did and you ask for forgiveness… how can you repent for killing yourself if you are dead?

Answer #8

there is no such thing as hell. not in the way that it is commonly portrayed, as a location where souls are sent for eternal damnation, with fire and demons and all that fun stuff. its a nice thought though, isnt it?

Answer #9

for moe if you believe in god then you believe in going heaven im guessing which means your soul will have contact with god before he decides where to put you cant you ask for forgiveness then?

Answer #10

he’ll forgive you anyway

Answer #11

God is a just God, he is more than fair, and very reasonable.

He judges the attitudes of the heart, and whether or not the blood has been applied.

If you accept his sacrifice for your sins, which is the blood of his son Jesus, and live accordingly, you have nothing to fear.

He love you with an everlasting love, and has no desire to send anyone to hell.

Hell was created for the Devil and his angels, that disobey God.

Satan works hard at tripping people up, and knows every trick in the book.

He has been around since the beginning of time, and goes about thru the earth, seeking whom he may devour.

God wants to protect us from his schemes, if we will seek him, he will do just that.

He is on our side, and if he be for you, Who can be against you?

Answer #12

you would probably forgive you if you were trully sorry for what you did, but you would be long gone…it’s not worth it…you’ll end up messing up everything

Answer #13

I think you go to hell if you commit suicide. You’re taking away the gift God gave you.. I looked this up on Bible.com though…

Some people believe that all who commit suicide go immediately to Hell. However, the Bible never says if this is the case. The Bible is silent on this issue. God probably did not address it in black in white for a good reason. If we knew that we would still go to Heaven if we killed ourselves, there would probably be a lot more suicides taking place than there already are. However, if we knew that all who killed themselves were automatically banished to Hell, no matter what their situation, it may be too much for the grief-stricken family and friends to bear. Murder and suicide are not unpardonable sins. The only unforgivable sins are rejecting Christ (Mark 16:16) and blaspheming the Holy Spirit.
