you need others to help you strenghten you, to pick you up when you fall, to bail you out when you need help. thats what the church is for. not a temple, but the people you will learn to love.

it is not required for a relationship with the Lord, but it is very helpful indeed. Man was not made to live alone.

denominations are man made, and I doubt Jesus ever wanted for his followers to split up into groups and only make important some teachings and others not.

seek the one that speaks the most truth about Jesus, and seek a church that loves each other more than themesleves, and non denominational churches are also an option.

There are many people who have come up with the same question. Church is actually a group of believers. Therefore I would agree with the point that a Christian is not required to go to a church. However listening to the word of God is very important for Christians as our faith come and is strengthened by hearing the word of God. If you feel that you need the environment of a church to listen to the word of God, then you can freely go to any church but it has to one where the word of God is preached and believed. It is very important to however, keep away from any church that believes in and follows a lot of rituals. Thirst to be a part of Jesus Christ and do not thirst to be a part of any organization.

Trail and error. It takes ages to find a church where you actually feel you belong. I only just recently found a really great one now. And it doesn’t matter if it’s Anglican, Presbyterian or anything else, just see which one you like. But don’t feel that you have to go to one certain church just to please people. If they seem to pushy, don’t be afraid to walk away.

As a christian, you aren’t required to go to an actual ‘church’ …but if you feel the need to go… then pick one…

which denomination? They’re all man made, so whichever you choose it doesn’t matter.

For a while, forget about this…take time to get to know Him, just the two of you. Forget what you have learned in the past…Pray and ask His Spirit to guide you…take His word and search…He will show you the way…I do not belong to a church, but I am a teacher…He thought me!
