Other countries telling them what to do won’t solve it - in fact it may make it worse. Other countries helping the Israelies and Palestinians to work towards finding a solution will be of a much greater help.

It will end when both parties find an acceptable way to live together. It will take a number of concessions on both parties parts, perhaps slightly moreso for the Israelies. Neither party is going to go away, so once they realise they need to make the best of a bad situation, then maybe we will see the political will to find a real compromise.
