Well when you are stressed, it is usually cause you are thinking of something, if your brain is busy, how are you going to get to sleep. It is not like counting sheep.

Answer #8

Stress does not cause lack of sleep. Stress is a normal part of life. It’s the anxiety that’s causing the lack of sleep. Yes, there is a point in being nitpicky about this. You cannot get rid of stress. You can, however, deal with anxiety. Deep breathing and relaxation exercises do help. I mean do the basics of course, no alcohol or caffeine several hours before bed, don’t work or watch tv from your bed, if you can’t sleep after a little bit, get up, no point in tossing and turning all night, when you start to get sleepy then go back to bed. Try a warm bath before bed. Try some mental exercises, make a list of things bothering you, and then tell yourself that you will get back to that list tomorrow. Set aside some time to think about that list, and then actually think about it. Hopefully that will contain the anxiety a little (so you’re only dealing with it in that time frame).

Answer #9

It all depends on each individual on how they take stress. If you know how to deal with stress, it will be very easy to tackle many things in life and even sleep will not be a problem then. But, in other words if you cannot handle stress, then it is really a huge problem for sure

Answer #10

Tea contains a lot of caffeine, a stimulant that will keep you awake. Try Chamomille tea, it has a relaxing effect and some other beneficial effects
