How do I decide upon them?

I have atleast 12 border collie breeders that I can adopt from, and there from Florida georgia alabama and lousiana I live in Florida now and I will drive to whichever breeder but I need help deciding on what breeder…how do I decide?? PleaseeHelpp.(;

I don’t know what breeder, but just to let you know I have a collie and he wasn’t from any specific breeder, as a matter of fact he was abandon and abused in our neighborhood, so we took him in and gave him a good home, no specific breeder, 100% collie. I <3 him, and any collie makes a good pet!!!(:

Pick the 3 or 4 that are closest to you, and go visit. Check out the enviroment, look at the adults…is it a clean place? do the dogs look healthy..shiny coats, clear eyes, happy?? What are their temperements like? Shy? Confident? Does the breeder show or use them for agility (or another sport?). Will the breeder let you contact other purchasers for recomondations?

Are there any pups for sale at this time? How long would you have to wait (are you willing to wait?)…

You’ll find a pup long before you end up having to go to 12 breeders…
