What coat color for a border collie, and help with naming it!!!?

Im getting a border collie puppy…maybee. And I need help on deciding what coat color to get, me and my mom have been thinking and we can’t decide on these two coat colors Blue merle, or Black and white.. Vote on that. (It’s going to be a girl… if that helps)

We’ve also been thinking about names.. We want the name to have to do with the coat coloring, or the way it looks. For examplee; A black and white border collie could be named Oreo.
Or a blue merle border collie could be named Splash..

Which those two names Oreo and Splash, Are some of the names me and my mom thought of.. And I need YOUR HELP to decide on what coat color, and a name for that dog and having to do with it’s coat. (: Help pleasee.. (:

blue berry for a blue female or if you dont get one of the 2 colours you want ill would g with a red one because you could just name it red

I would go for black and white

but dont call the most intelligent dog in the world oreo after a biscuit… ;)

I like for a lil female puppy summet like paige, cindi, joy…

them type of names have nothing to do with the color of the coat I know but you will need to look outside the box with this 1 I think :)

how bout milky after a milky bar… you can get milky bars in white and milk chocolate, no dark, but its close enough lol do they do a dark chololate 1? you on a winner if they do

Personally, I find the Blue Merle more unique to look at.

Just remember that the name of your dog doesn’t have to reflect the dog’s appearance - it could even just be a name from a book that you like, or a word that holds significant meaning to you…the animal will develop into it’s name.

Im with Ichibanarky. Blue Merle but Red Merle is a very close 2nd if not tied for 1st.
