Who knows if Florida legislators passed the law to force condo owners to pay their condo fees?

(Asking for my Nana in Pompano Beach, FL– Shout out, Nana!)

This is what I found

The legislators just passed a bill to help the condo associations and the housing market.: Florida law no longer requires owners to purchase insurance coverage. Associations of condos over 75 Ft. high aren’t required to retrofit sprinkler systems. Lenders must pay more of pass due assessments on foreclosed properties. Change from 6 mos to 12 months Delinquent owners: Condo owners behind in maintenance fees 90 days or more may now be banned from non-essential common areas, including community pools and club houses. Delinquent owners will also be disqualified from board elections or voting on matters that requirement a membership vote. Associations may divert tenant rents to pay for delinquent assessments owed by unit owners.
