Wait: you want to DROP 8 pounds…and asking about muscle mass?

If you want to LOSE weight, you go cardio, 3x per week minimum with 30 minutes of activity per session, with warm up and cool down, it’ll take about 45 minutes per workout…you also need to improve your diet, unless it’s already perfect :)

If you want to build muscle, you need heavy weights, lower repetition numbers and one day on / one day off. Work top half one day, bottom next, etc, then you can rest 1 day / week, so you can build all six days.

I’m guessing you’re not exercising now…so, it’ll take you about six weeks to start to gain real muscle, as most of the gains you’ll get in the first while are related to training your nervous system to fire appropriately and use the muscles you already have…once you get past that stage, you’ll start to add some bulk.

IT is depend on what do u think you are. If you fat i mean fat like slobby tummy with extra fat in thigh side and all over the place… i suggest u should start with cardio and it will take u awhile to loose those fat. After that, u can start building those muscle, if u dont do cardio first and just work out then u will get stronger but wont be able to eliminate those fats. Cardio is complicated, there are many different kind, you gota do research and start off slowly and work your way up… Quickest way to loose wiegth through cardio is HIIT ( HIGH INTENSE INTERVAL TRAINING) take lota mental work…
