Lean muscle mass/ fat

How do I burn off fat without creating lean muscle mass. Because I have a tendency to build up muscle when I exercise and not burn fat..

Answer #1

The way a body builder gains muscle is by taking in more calories then is needed in a day. After working out you will feel that swore feeling… The swore feeling comes from tinny rips in the muscle. The extra calories are applied to the rips in the muscle and it becomes bigger as the muscle heals.

If you burn more calories then you take in the muscle’s will lose fat without the muscle gain since there is no extra calories to apply to the muscle.

After a work out you will see that the muscles got slightly bigger. This is because of all the tinny rips in the muscle. If you burned more calories then you took in the muscle’s wont get any bigger but will just lose fat.

one more thing…use light weight and don’t over work yourself.

Answer #2

Do aerobic exercises, or some kind of physically demanding sport if you want to lose fat. Weight-lifting does not consume that much energy, but aerobic excertion does. I read in a fitness book that doing 1000 crunches will burn the same amount of energy as a 5 minute walk would…so there ya go.
