Can I have a doctor put contacts in my eyes?

I’m too scared to do it myself.

Answer #1

You can’t leave them in, you need to take them out at the end of the day anyway. you can’t have a doctor put them in everyday for you, so you may as well get used to it soon. You could go to a doctor and have him teach you how to put them in, but you should try yourself first to get over the fear.

Answer #2

its okay if your scared to, it took my friend 2 years to be able to put them inherself. you just have to practice and get use to it.

Answer #5

I’m the opposite. Don’t mind touching my eyes. Hate others touching them. Eye doctors will put them in for you.

Answer #6

the doctor or the optomitrist nuse will put them in for you the first time you get them because you’ve never had expirence with them before. But if you’ve had them before and have expirence with putting them in they will let you put them in. But you have another appointment 2 weeks after your 1st on and you should know how. Take it from me I had contacts and now i have colored. They are awesome way better than glasses in my opinion. The dont hurt to put them or while they are in because you should have the kind that feel comfortable to your eyes. But now if you have it inside out or its ripped you’ll now. Trust me if your contact is ripped you usually see it on the contact. but if you dont look at it ot it doesnt show up and you put it in, it burns. But there is nothing to fear about putting contacts in. I think its actually worse if the doctor puts them in, but they have to if you’ve never had contacts before. Hope that helped:)
