Why was Jesus crucified?

How was Jesus crucified for our sins, when he was crucified for persecution? How did his crucifiction save humanity. Was it intended that he share his teachings and message and then be persecuted for that? How was it a sacrifice if he was persecuted?

Beacause God knows everything that is going to happen in the future. When people make bad decisions or when followers of god tend not to follow his plan all the time GOD has a way of making their bad decision into a good one- like the crusifiction of jesus christ GODS SON. In all reality the people that were crusifying jesus were the people that he was dying for in the first place. It states in the old testament that anytime that a person sinned GOD required them to kill something pure something without sin. Which becuase all people sin including gods believers they would kill their best lamb or cattle. Becuase there was so much sin in the world it actually states in the bible that we were running out of cattle. So GOD sent his son JESUS christ to die an awful death on the cross. Becuase he was GODS SON he had no sin and he was the “almighty lamb”. Which is what the “lamb of GOD” Jesus was so righteous that he died for everyone and all their sins in the past present and in the future. Think of how many sins a person commits in one day imagine that for the rest of your life times how many people are in this world. Jesus encountered all that pain for little old you little odl me and little old everyone else. God knew that because sin was in the world that ti would be hard and thats why he sent jesus to die for us…God didnt ask this to happen to his son…He didn’t want the world to come to what it is now. God didn’t ask us to place all fo our burdens on him and our entire lives and all of our stress that this world creates for us becuase he wanted them–but because he asked us to!!! GOD LOVES YOU SOOO MUCH! jesus di so much!! If you would like to know more information kc_blayer@hotmail.com and I can give you a website/ send you a bible! Everyone can think what hey want about the bible being a history book- but I cant even imagine how hard life must be without someone to fall on something to believe in. LIFE IS SOOO GOOD!

be blessed!

how else do you create something that you want people to follow and believe in. create a martyr. lets look at famous martyrs of all time. Joa of Arc. Jesus (of course) Martin Luther King, Jr. ummm Abraham Lincoln. I’m sure there are more but when you create a martyr by killing someone who supposedly has a belief in something it strangthens that belief in what ever and makes it stronger by tenfold if not one hundredfold. where would christianity be today if not for it’s famous martyr? which I might add was stolen from the egyptians. his name was Horace and he was born of a virginal birth, had 12 followers, started his works at 30, died and came back 3 days later, performed miracles, etc. why does that sound familiar like I’ve heard it before somewhere? remember now I’m talking about a man named Horace who this story was told and found on hieroglyphics on an egyption pyramid 3000 years or so before christianity ever came to be. so why does that sound SO familiar? any clues?

So mankind would have a WAY to spend etenity in Heaven - this is what I know to be true: God being pure cannot even look upon sin - man, even in his very best state is a sinner - on judgement day, either: your sins are covered by the blood-shed sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross (salvation and only salvation - being a nice person isn’t good enough - even at our very best, we are but filthy rags), and remembered no more or they are not (your sins are not covered) - where God’s great love comes into play is, He provided a WAY (Jesus) for us not to perish and live in Heaven with Him (He certainly didn’t have to do this but did because He loved us so) - if you read carefully John 3:16, this is exactly what it says - each person will either accept or reject, you must decide for yourself and yes, it’s so important, it has eternal consequences - He Loves you and wants you to accept God’s free gift to man - Jesus…Hope this help you !!

Rather than give you a really long reply, I first of all want to know if you’ve read or seen: ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’. This is because CS Lewis intended the lion Aslan to represent Jesus, in life, death and resurrection. So if you know that story, it goes a long way to answering your question.

The crucifixion is an allegorical story, not literally history. It reflects the persecution of the Jews, culminating in the fall of the temple in 70 CE.

Answer #8

There were a variety of “reasons” why they crucified him.

“Did they crucify Jesus only because he claimed to be the promised Messiah? No. Did they crucify him only because he claimed to be the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? No. Did they crucify him only because they would not accept certain gospel teachings and applications, like proper Sabbath keeping and plural marriage. No. They crucified the Son of God for all of these reasons and many more like them. They had lost the love of truth, righteousness, and all that is holy.”

Supposedly he went out of his way to start riots & disterb the peace. He went out of his way to cross paths with the romans & people against him. Supposedly he also made a mockery of the well known Jewish proffit way back when, when he rode to Jerisalim on a donkey. Some documents reveal that he’s not as holy as some fancy him to be. Believe it or not it can be easily proven that he didn’t die on the cross. Just ask if you’re interested.

Answer #10

he was persecuted because he followed his own path, he didnt generally do anything he knew he was going to die and even though having the chance to escape he didnt though what is strange is that even though christ died for the sins of the people and even though he forgave Judas, Judas himself is said to reside in hell crucifixion was the main capital punishment for thieves, murderers etc. and jesus was supposedly that bad they had to crucify him
