Why my pug want to chew the hands or legs of the people?

Why my pug chew the hands or legs of the people holding him. He always try to put the body parts of the people in hi s mouth to chew inspite of having so many stuff to chew with him. This habit really annoy people and they do not want to come into his contact what to do?

I agree with the two others = ) If someone comes in and he does this you should lightly tap him on the nose and have eye contact and firmly say no! This can sometimes be a good way. I learnt this from Ceasar Millian ( I think thats how you spell it) haha anyways… he is a dog whisperer and he is really good with dog advice…!

If he chews their hands, tell them to Say “no” and put him on the floor. You’ll have to give it time, but he will learn that the consequence of chewing on fingers, is he won’t be allowed to be where he wants to be…in their lap.

He does it because he’s gotten away with it.

I agree with Phrannie. He needs to know that what he’s doing is bad, else he will continue to do so. This means that you and everyone who touches/holds him will need to tell him that he’s bad when he does something like that. He’ll learn within time.
