Why does my Blackerry Bold battery die so fast?

My black berrybold 9000 battery dies very fast? Why? I charge it all night, then in the morning its 100% but after 6 hours or so its half way dead and I made like one call and I dont even tex as much. Or sometimes its less then 6 hours? What can it be? Help? Thank you

If your cellphone battery dies so fast,then you meit need a new battery for your cellphone or you need too go too your cellphone place were you pay your cellphone bill at and tell them about.

your battery is old or was charged a lot. each time you charge a battery it charges less and less each time and isnt fixable. just buy a new battery

There’s a few reasons why a battery might be losing charge:

  • failure to holster it (this stops the backlight from staying on, basically putting your cell into sleep mode)
  • letting the battery die right down before charging it (it’s a myth that you need to wait for it to die first - that causes more stress on the battery)
  • not closing applications (if you don’t close them, they run in the background)
  • using loud ringer and vibrate (takes up more power than just having it on normal) If all the above is not the cause, then you probably just need a new battery.
