Who wants to answer a question about europe?

Imagine you are abducted by aliens who want to know what the european union is all about. How do you explain it?

The European Union is a grouping of nations that have the goal to be stronger economically. The earth is run by power and money so in order to be stronger some countries have decided to band together, put their power and wealth together in order to defend their interests against other nations that have power and wealth (I.e.: USA, China). Now, I don’t know how much these aliens understand about nations, money and economics but that about sums it up in a nutshell.

Now, the United Nations was a byproduct of the second world war and is a grouping of nations in order to help promote and keep world peace. But this is a whole other topic.

By the way, aliens are usually very friendly and helpful people. Take it from me ;-)

I would be more inclined to scream for help and run away from the aliens than try to discuss boring things with them…or I’d whip out my phone, film the aliens, and put it on YouTube.
