Who has experienced root canal?

Hi so uhm..the dentist said that’s its either I get rootcanal or I ectract my tooth, so yeah uhm does rootcanal hurt that badly? I mean can the dentist use anestesia or sumthin? Because if it really hurts (I have low tolerance for pain) im just gonna extract my tooth its in the back of my mouth anyways its not that noticable… So what do you think should I get rootcanal or should I just extract my tooth? Help please!!!

I’ve had it.. it hurts but it didn’t hurt as much as I thought and I’m terrified of the dentist! they make it as least painful as they can and it’s better than getting it extracted, so get the root canal done.. it will hurt a little bit but not as bad as you’re probably thinking :) hope it goes ok :)x

keep the tooth, even thou you cant see it you will notice it when you eat certain foods. they make sure you feel it least as possible. they will probably give you meds for after when the anesthesia wears off, probably hurts less than an extraction in my opinion.
