When will my tongue be fully healed?

I’m 13

I recently pierced my tongue, and it’s swelled up quite abit I talk like a downer, and can’t eat!

I wanna know when will I be able to eat, talk, move my tongue around freely again without it hurting.. And when it does fully heal will I be able to eat like I used to or do I have to somehow find a new way to eat without chewing my tongue ring off.

Or is that cause of the swelling?

Please help me it’s coming to the point of regret.

your fucking retarded, did you read up that there are main veins in your tongue that if you pierce through them they can get severley infected. get it checked out, and think before you leap!!!

well first your young. lol. and did you or a friend do it or a professional? its going to take time for the swelling to go down just take care of it when you eat rinse it with alcohol free mouthwash and I would suggest to eat little chunks of ice or suck on a popsicle it would feel better beacuse its cold.

Did you do it yourself, or was it done professionally? The pain and severe swelling could be caused by not only the piercing itself, but and infection too, you know…

You pierced it, or a professional did?

The swelling should be pretty minimal by the third day…if it’s been more than that and you’re still swollen go back to the piercer (or if you did it yourself - the hospital).
