Whatre the best Diet foods?

Im starting a diet This school year. What are some diet foods I can take for lunch? I know fruits and Veggies are good for diets, but they dont fill you up.

What are some lunches or snacks I can take, that are healthy, yet satisfy my hunger?

Answer #1

Yea, I would go with the sandwiches. Use lean meats such as turkey and chicken and don’t use any mayo but instead different types of mustards or anything low in fat. Also switch your sandwich bread with whole wheat and this way you can get some fiber in your diet too! Also whole wheat pasta is a good option. Soup with crackers is good as well.

Sandwiches are great if they contain the leaner meats, veggies, and use high-fiber low calorie breads and no fatty condiments like mayo (use mustard or ketchup or low-calorie salad dressing or yogurt insted).

You can also “wrap” high protein sources (such as turkey, chicken, hummus) in lettuce rolls if you are really trying to restrict calories or carbs. You can even eat one piece of bread with it if you crave carbs, yet not use two slices of bread for the sandwich.

Bean or chicken burritos (with salsa, not sourcream or too much cheese) might be an alternative if you have a microwave to zap it. Prepared “salad in a bowl” with lots of veggies but also some chicken and a few nuts might be satisfying, yet low in calories depending upon the salad dressing type and portion size. Good luck!
