What is an effective way to tone up for this summer?

right ok, well I tired of not wanting to go to the beach or going on holiday and wearing a teeshirt. I have a set of 5KG dumbells and 2.5KG dumbells. what, specifically can I do to tone up my body for the summer and holidays I go on. please help me out. like how many situps? how many pushups? also share with me how you guys got toned, that could help. cheers.

iceskating is really good for toning up! it burns all your calories off and makes your thighs feel like steel and also feels like you got a bum lift! :) x

first thing, eat a balanced diet, dont eat all junk food because your toning will be going to waste because you wont be able to see it behind all fat. burn off the main of your fat by doing a cardiovascular exercise whilst weight training throughout the week, you should do however many situps/pushups as you can do in sets, (eg 20 situps then rest, then another 20 situps so on)

Have a look on youtube, and look for exercises that will tone your shoulders and arms. Work both sides of your arms. Biceps and triceps. Situps are fine, but remember to work your back as well. Lay on your stomac and lift your torso.

You’ll also want to work your butt. Have a 5 kilo in each hand, stand upright, and take one fairly long step forward, then step back again. If you do it right, you’ll feel the burn in your butt and thighs. Also stand with one 5 kilo bell in each hand and go up on your toes. This will take care of the muscles on the lower part of your legs.

And as the guy over me say, you’ll have to think about what you eat. NO junkfood. And don’t fall for the anabolic steroid thing! You’ll get much nicer body if you use natural methodes.

But you really should look at Youtube. there’s a lot of good home made workout clips there. Good luck mate.
