What is a vegan?
A vegan is someone who does not eat or use animal products whenever possible.
In addition to not eating meat, fish, foul, eggs, and dairy vegans also avoid using animal products like leather, fur, etc. Vegan is a lifestyle as well as a diet.
Many people call themselves vegan yet still use leather and other animal products. The term "pure vegetarian" has been suggested to describe individuals who consume no animal products but still use them.
