What do I do about being fired?

ok, so I was hired at Subway on Aug. 4th, and then I was hired at Pizza King later that month. well, yesterday, I turned in my uniform at Subway before I went into work at Pizza King bc I’ve been working 38 hours a week at Pizza King and im in honors classes. well, when I walked into the doors at Pizza King, the manager called me into his office and told me he had to let me go because I told a manager “no”, which I never did. the new manager that I didnt like since the day she started, lied on me to the head manager and told him that the night before (thursday) I told her “no, I will not go home”. she was standing there lying to me to my face. well, right now I am jobless, and I’ve already put in applications everywhere else. what am I supposed to do???

Keep looking. Also, you might go tell Subway you changed your mind and see if they’ll rehire you.

You could make up a story that you were worried that your job was interfering with your grades…but that you had second thoughts and are now convinced you can juggle both.

we have audio and video. I asked the head manager to go back and look at it and he said he cant. and I cant go back to subway, I’ve already tried.

you could try honesty. Just tell them whats up. As far as your manger lying… unless you have video proof you’re pretty much screwed.
