my boyfriend works for my dad and well I didn't tell my parents about are relationship until last Sunday and well they don't like him. well my dad said that he is going to be out of a job now because he is dating me... well can my dad really fire him just because he is dating me and they don't like him..I'm 18 so they really can't say or do anything about it.... all the help you can give me would be great...

yea your dad fire who ever he wants but be sure its not just because he's your boyfriend; my dad fires people all the time just because he can hire someone better or he doesnt want to keep paying them. hell he even fired me i didnt get a cent for the two months i worked for him. he just said i lost the timecard "but I gave it to him!"
Well, if your ddad owns his buisness he can do whatever he wants to do. But if it's only because of that, that's really pathetic. Let your parents know how much you care for this kid, and have him let them know how much he cares for you, if they truely want you to be happy, they'll approve of y'all.
depending on what state u live in there are certain unlawfull firing laws and this wuld be one of them. its counted as discrimination if ur bf gets fired have him contact a employment office and they could help with laws.
While its your dad's business and he can do whatever he likes, it is unethical for him to do that.
