Is it weird that I'm a tomboy but I feel like I should dress nicely and wear makeup for special events (Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc...) because I'm getting older?

older? I don’t meant like wearing dresses or anything like that, i mean like a nice shirt, nice pants, and nice shoes with natural looking makeup on.

Nope, not weird at all! When I was in elementary I was a total tomboy. As a kid I hated Barbies and makeup and dresses and all that kind of stuff. But as I got older I wanted to be more girly like my friends so I slowly transitioned to being more girly. Dont be afraid to dress nice or wear makeup. Do what makes you feel beautiful! You don’t have to be a tomboy for the rest of your life.
