Vaccinations

my puppy had her last vaccination eleven days ago, and the vet said don’t walk her for two weeks, but she has been driving her mad! we heard from lots of people that we can walk her after one week. I took her for her first walk yesterday, four days before the vet said she was ready, will she be okay? thankyou x

yep I think she should be if she seems fine in herself then I really dont think theres anything to worry about, the vet tells you 7 days it normally means less than that its just to make sure that its defo gonna be ok,

Anyway hope I helped bye,byexx

Answer #4

what breedis your dog? my friend has a bull dog and they cant go out till a certain time as its something to do with their bone structure or joints! the last injection is to cover your puppy against something that you find in rodent pee like rat pee. the pup can catch this from other dogs or just on walks.

you should be fine! I took my dog out even before the last injection!! woops!!

Answer #5

The reason they said to NOT walk her is because her immune system isn’t up to where it should be to fight off Parvo…and Parvo lives in the ground for years…If you got lucky and she didn’t come into contact with any of the Parvo virus, then yes…she’ll be ok…

The Vets give you EXACT instructions for a reason…I woudn’t chance the life my puppy because they were on my nerves…why not toss a ball around in the house…or your back yard? You can buy light nylon rope by the foot to keep her in the yard while you play.
