It's not in my close family but I know that in some religions, if you bury a man with no children you put a stone in his hand. If the person caused trouble when they were alive, you bury them on their stomach so their spirit cannot escape and cause more trouble. Strange but fascinating huh!!!
I Have never acchually had someone die in my life, which i am thankful for. But But with My perents alredy planning their deaths it would be what you think the pearson would lie things to be like.
well we didnt have many but it seems after the funeral and all, we go somewhere eat and get our minds distracted and laugh about things and try not to think about much
We go to the funeral look at them, talk to them one last time, say our respects, etc... go to the burial...and then move on.
in scotland we have this thing called a wake, kinda like a party after the funeral (lots of drinking)
Have a funeral and then move on. We don't have any specific culture or traditions regarding death.
Lol nothing, really. Bury them and get on with our lives. Death happens.
There's no tradition for us.
cry, bury and get drunk.
