How do I get a small acting career started?

Community plays, local churches maybe?

Yeah sometimes they put on plays and like u said concidering ur only 13 well thrs only so much u can do right now for ur career if u haven’t started it already

ok, you need to really think this through…Do you really want to get into the business or not…?(not trying to be rude just being honest) If you merely wanna have fun then just take a drama class after school in your nearest community and call it a night!

If you are serious about getting into the acting business they start really young…at age 4 actually…especially in commercials..(faces/hands) If that is really what you want to do then have your legal guardian or parent set it all up like devote the rest of her life’s saving to acting classes speech classes & also make overs. Making sure you get to appointments on time & you must hv an agent that they hire for you of course. No one expects you to do it alone since you are 13. You must have your parent present or sign some agreement form giving rights to the person who will be attending with you or representing you. Why, because that is really what you will be needing if you really are serious about acting in the real world! (meaning tv commercials/tv shows/tv series/ magazines…unless you really wanna keep it to a minimal at church.)

I would start with doing school plays cause when you get into college they will have a look at those. Go to a drama school and you will be doing some major plays where you woud even travel around showing them. The more plays you start doing now in school the better.

Try starting in smsall time commercials or even in plays or theaters in your local area.
