I replied but im new on here and its not showing up so if my answer comes up twice you know why lol…I’ve considered being depressed but I just hate even the sound of that..I am always down and dont really go out only here and there but thats rarely and only for a couple hours at a time. I wake up around 5pm because thats when my boyfriend gets home. I stay up for a couple hours but before I know it im tired again and my eyes shut all by themselves I cant even keep them open I wont even know I fell asleep! its taking a HUGE toll on my relationship I can tell hes getting more and more sick of me as the days go by because of the lack of energy I have. I never feel like doing anything other than sleeping..when I wash the dishes now I feel like its something so big like an improvement but if I stop and think about it its just the dishes how stupid thats nothing. Im normally a upbeat happy laughing running around person I cant stand being this way. I’ve noticed a weigh gain also but to be honest I dont eat a lot and for some reason it just stays. There has been stress but thats normal right everyone has it…

I’ve honestly considered saying im depressed but I dont like even hearing that..I dont go out that much just here and there..but no often at all. My boyfriend comes home at 5pm so thats the reason I get up at that time and I force myself to stay up just to spend time with him but end up falling asleep an hour or two later. The whole sleep issue is taking a toll on my relationship and I know that makes me sad and almost hate myself..I’ve noticed weigh gain also but to be honest I dont even eat a lot so I dont get why it just sticks with me.

Your Circadian Rhythm is messed up by the sounds of it. Humans are designed to sleep during the night and function during the day- ‘night workers’ are known to require more sleep because the quality of sleep they get during the day is not as good as if they were able to sleep at night.

Is it possible you’re depressed?- That’s ANOTHER symptom associated with working nights. The lack of sunlight in your life is probably causing you to be a bit depressed. Do you get out much? I know it was hard for me to hang out with my friends because they worked days- so I was lonely.
