House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Caif., told an audience that included “ILLEGAL” immigrants that enforcement of America’s immigration law is “un-American.” - Referring to work site enforcement actions by ICE agents, Pelosi said, “We have to have a change in policy and practice and again … I can’t say enough, the raids must end. The raids must end - Since when is it wrong to enforce our laws on those who clearly break it ?

I agree with this comment…Pelosi’s comments were “pandering to the crowd” as well as “insulting to American citizens who consider themselves to be patriotic, who obey the rule of law.”

Unjust or unconstitutional laws should not be enforced. That’s the entire reason the executive branch is separate from the legislative branch. The executive is not merely a a puppet of the legislative, but shares responsibility for ensuring that the laws it enforces are just as well as Constitutional.

I don’t understand the Speaker of the House being against enforcing law - a 5th grader, using common sense can put together, illegal means criminal.
