This isn't hypothetical. There are three countries in the world, this year, with elections. Obviously, we're all (in the US) fixated on the election here. For those that didn't know, Zimbabwe already had their elections. For those that have read the FunAdvice story, you'll know the country.
In any event, if your father in law was running for president, what would you do? Clearly, we don't take a political stance here, and FunAdvice can't endorse a candidate in any given country. Personally, I'm clearly biased, and I think everybody will understand why. :)
However, his election needs help. Creative thinking, etc. So if your father in law was running for president, what would you do to help them out?
That's a good question because if you don't have a political background, how could you help them (legally) or than soliciting...
But on my end, lol, their is no way on god's green earth that I would've voted for my ex wife's father in law, he was dumb...
But if I had a smart father in law, then I'd probably just support him the best I could, try and go on parts of campaigns with him. Try and keep him off edge on a more personal level... Not sure what else you would be able to do or maybe I'm just thinking inside the box...
Well my father in law was a staunch conservative, so I would just keep my mouth shut.
Yeah right, like I could ever do that... lol.
I'd praise the Lord...he's been dead for 30 years.

I guess I'd ask him if there was anything I could do to help.
I'd try to talk him out of it.
