How do you convert a microgram to a microlitre?

Answer #1

Um… gram measures mass, a liter measures volume, so you can’t convert… You can take the volume and multiply it by density to get mass

L*(g/L) = g

That would be the unit analysis of it there.

Answer #2

If it helps 1 mL is defined as 1 cubic centimeter of water (or is it 1 cc is defined as 1 mL) and 1 cc of water weighs, guess = ) …

One Gram!

But as chriswords say, it depends on the density of the mass unless you are talking about water, in which case it is really easy to calculate. Assuming you do mean water.

One Liter = One Kg.

So, 1 million microLiters (1 Liter) = 1 billion micrograms (1000 g), so one microgram equals =1/1000 microLiter.
