Knowing how you got that nickname may help in getting rid of it.
If the nickname bothers you, you could approach people about it separately and ask them to not call you it anymore. You could also let them know why you’d prefer they didn’t use it on you. By doing that they will be able to understand why you don’t like it, which could stop them from saying it.
Just let your close friends know a new nick name you came up with and tell them you want to be called that. It will soon get around, and your new nickname will be formed. Or you can simply do an action that can cause you to get a new one.
