Depends, what sort of rice are you eating? White rice has a lot carbohydrates and little fiber and because of this it takes more to make you feel full. Brown rice is much more nutritionally rich it has about 4 grams of fiber per cup. It will make you feel full faster and for longer. If you do eat rice daily, perhaps suggest switching to brown rice instead. Regardless, I have many friends who eat white rice daily for every single meal and are still stick thin! It all depends on your metabolism and also the amount of exercise you do, so no, white rice does not necessarily make you have muffin top but it can.
