my frends are pressuring me to smoke pot? what shud I do?
You are going to get a lot of pressure through life and this may be one of the first times that your strenght of character is tested by this kind of thing. I agree with what some of the people above are saying - make your own decisions and don't be pressurised by other people. Not on this issue, and not on other things either. It seems to me that you don't actually want to give into their pressure and I think you're right. I think you shouldn't give in and I also think that you should try to find some new friends if these ones can't accept your decision. Very best of luck...

Pot kills brain cells. That has been proven. It's illegal and you could ruin your life by getting caught and then you would have a criminal record. A criminal record will disqualify you for a lot of good jobs out there. Also, pot will give you lung cancer. Need any more reasons?? Find yourself some new friends who have some healthy habits.
say no. if they are pressuring you walk away. I smoke myself but I choose to do it, I've never pressured anyone. if they tell you to do it again tell them you dont want to and just walk away. if they are your friend then they should understand,if not then they arent worth being called friends.
How old are you? It's illegal regardless but it makes a difference.
If you care enough to post here with your concerns, than I'd say to wait. If they're really your friends, they'll understand and be cool with your decision. If not, then they're not worth worrying about.
If you don't want to do it, then don't. I usually say something like, "I'm crazy enough naturally. I don't need any drugs to make me worse." That gets a laugh and then we change the subject.
Simple, if you feel comfortable enough to try it... then try it. If you don't want to do it... don't do it. Your friends 'pressuring' you, means they're not very good friends.
If you don't want to do it, don't. Don't let them pressure you into doing something you don't want to. Say no and be confident in your response.
