Your bones don’t have to be broken to experience pain.

I dont want this to sound bad, but it can also be psychosomatic…if you have stress in your life, fears, depression or just going through something in your life, like a break up, a new time in your life like college, it can be quit stressful. It can cause you to feel weak, and ache all over…that can be why nothing is showing up as broken, because nothing really is.

If it has been going on for a long time, it might be lack of iron, or perhaps lack of calcium which can cause ur bones to feel weak, and that can cause the pain. But what more concerns me is the fact that you keep tripping over, which may be another sign like anemia. When was the last time you really ran a series of blood tests to rule out anything. You might just lack sleep & vitamins.
All I can say is your 18 & too young to be feeling like this, so I would go to the doc’s and have a full series of tests to pin point what is going on. Also just thought about this, might also be low blood pressure. I would check that out and ask u if you get dizzy spells as well. If so then def get a cat scan or check your eyes as well. Just covering all the tracks here…no need to get all alarmed here. Just precautions.

I would talk to someone professionally if this may sound familiar. what you may be experiencing will seem as real as it gets, but in all honesty it may just be a symptom.

hope this helps. feel better soon.

Chloe, you might be able to get better answers in you gave more detail about what you’re experiencing. Where is the pain? What kind of pain is it (shooting, dull ache, etc.)? Does it always hurt or only at certain times or conditions (like when you make certain movements)?

Answer #5

there might just be bad bruising around the bone, which would give it the feeling of broken. could also be muscle related got to a physio if its real bothering you :)

Answer #6

I cracked my growth plate in half in October but you can’t see growth plates on x-rays. (Plus you could have sprained or bruised it)
