My family won't let me be a vegitarian. Personally I think it;s wrong what they do to animals before they make them food. My parents make meat every night and force me to eat it. Any suggstions of what to do? :/
Get some research on the millions of reasons that red meat is bad for you. It is rich in fat. It clogs your arteries and if they're "green" people, explain why its bad for the environment. Farming is very resource intensive and the majority of the food we farm is used to feed factory farm animals.
It is very possible to get all of the nutrition you need. I'm actually completely vegan, meaning that I don't consume dairy products, either. Inform them that Mushrooms are rich in protein and a lot healthier than meat.
I truly wonder why they tell you they're forcing you to eat it. I can't imagine why anyone would do that, especially seeing as it isn't even good for you.
Tell them that they are force feeding you like the do with turkeys and shizz. Your parents piss me off. I hate that. It's wrong. realllyyy wronggg. That's discusting. Make your own food... go to a local store.. (Fred Myers has a ton of alternatives) MorningStar, Quorn, Amy's, Smart Deli, there is always an alternative. Frankly, DO NOT eat it. That is pushing you against your will, against your beliefs.
Just don't eat it. Ask them to buy you something like Quorn instead, it tastes just like meat but it's not made from animals. This is what I eat since I don't like meat either or the thought of eating an animal.
you dont have to eat it. im a meat eater myself, but I have friends who dont eat it so I understand. you dont have to eat, start cooking your own food.
