Parents dont allow me to be independant.

How can I make my parents allow me to be independant?? Im 16 in september and I am never allowed to go out with my friends. My mum gets so worried and never lets me stay alone anywhere,shes after me all the time I hate it. I want to be independant. My friends laugh at me for not being allowed to go out anywhere with them. Help me badly. Plzz..

you should tell your parents that your 16 and you need to start growing up. everyone’s parents worries about their children once in a while, but if your 16 already, you should talk to your parents about how your getting older.

if uve already tried tlkin to thm thn say that if you don’t b inderpendant thn how are you going to learn and bulid your life also your own personality and also your js gunna do the stuf that there worrin abt when you leave home so wldnt it b easyer if thy were there 4 you instead of you bein older and nt noin wht to do wiz your life and you cnt live lk this and that you feel inclosed you sld have freedom 2 do stuf that every1 needs to do hope I helped

Talk to your parents and explain to them that your at a stage where you need to go out with your friends and do things for yourself. This is important for you because you need your independence and your getting older, not younger. Its normal for parents to worry about you but they need to understand that yiou need your personal space. they need to know that you wont be their little girl forever.

Ensure them that they can trust you and you’l let them know where you are and what time you’l be back, once they begin to trust that you can look after your self well and behave maturley they will gradually give you more independence.
